The 9mm version pushes velocities up to 650 FPS with over 110 Joules . Weight sits at 3.1 kg, and overall length measures 925mm with a 610mm barrel . The 350cc removable air bottle fills to a maximum of 250 bar . Magazine capacity runs 24 shots in .177, 20 in .22, 18 in .25, 14 in .30, and 11 in .35 . The barrel comes shrouded with a removable moderator, and dual Picatinny rails accept optics and accessories . Therefore, shooters in Sweden, Finland, and Estonia should verify local energy limits before ordering.

Externally Adjustable Regulator and Side Lever Action

The defining feature of the M60B is its externally adjustable regulator. This system allows pressure changes without disassembling the rifle, though adjustments under pressure can damage the regulator . Moreover, the biathlon-style side lever sits conveniently above the trigger for fast cycling . The two-stage adjustable trigger ranges from 450 to 2700 grams . The tactical synthetic stock features an elevated cheek piece and adjustable rubber butt pad . Consequently, the rifle adapts to different shooters without modification. The removable air bottle simplifies transport and refilling.

Known Snowpeak M60B Problems Owners Report

Owners report several consistent issues worth knowing. Air leaks appear frequently, with one owner reporting their first M60B leaked overnight through the fill valve centre hole, and the replacement bubbled from the regulator adjustment screw . Moreover, quality control problems have occurred, with one unit arriving with tool marks on the regulator indicating someone had adjusted it under pressure . Bottle collar machining defects have caused leaks, with owners replacing O-rings and delrin washers to resolve . Valve poppet seating issues prevent the rifle from taking air after complete degassing, requiring the barrel to be covered during fill to seat the valve . Therefore, owner feedback suggests inspecting the fill system and regulator upon receipt.

Accuracy, Pellet Choice, and Range Performance

Pellet choice significantly impacts the M60B’s accuracy. One owner reported their .30 calibre M60B achieved 750 FPS with 45.06-grain pellets for four full magazines after tuning the regulator to 100 bar . Moreover, owners report excellent results with JSB pellets, with one noting “bug hole groups” at 20 yards in .25 calibre . The 610mm barrel delivers good accuracy at 50 metres and beyond. Consequently, test multiple pellet weights to find what your individual barrel prefers. One owner reported velocities averaging 808 FPS with a standard deviation of only 7.3 FPS using 45.68-grain pellets . The regulated system delivers consistent velocities when working correctly.

FINAL VERDICT

The Snowpeak M60B PCP Rifle represents exceptional value in a regulated tactical platform. It offers a 350cc bottle, externally adjustable regulator, and side lever action at an accessible price point. However, leak issues, quality control variability, and valve seating concerns mean it suits shooters willing to tinker and maintain rather than expecting turnkey perfection. Purchase from a reputable European retailer with warranty support and knowledge of local regulations. Consider adding a spare O-ring kit and a pellet sampler pack to find the best ammunition. Therefore, verify your country’s energy limits and licensing requirements before ordering, as regulations vary across EU member states including Sweden, Finland, and Estonia. Shop at Airgun Armoury.
