FX IMPACT M3 Power Block Standard Bronze Air Rifle

FX Impact M3 Power Block Standard Bronze: The Benchmark PCP Air Rifle

The FX Impact M3 Power Block Standard is a regulated PCP air rifle built on FX’s modular platform, and it remains the benchmark for adjustable precision airguns. If you have searched for an Fx impact m3 power review, this rifle delivers dual regulators, a 720cc Power Plenum, and the Quick Tune System in a single package . Consequently, it suits serious target shooters and hunters across Sweden, Finland, Estonia, and other EU countries where high-power PCP rifles are permitted. Moreover, the Bronze colourway adds a distinctive finish to the standard configuration. Because it features the Power Block upgrade, it handles heavy slugs and high regulator pressures better than earlier versions . Therefore, whether you are checking Fx impact m3 power price or comparing the FX Impact M4, this rifle deserves serious consideration. Airgun Armoury ships the full FX range across the EU.

FX Impact M3 Specifications: Calibre, Power, and European Availability

The FX Impact M3 Standard comes in .177, .22, .25, .30, and .35 calibres. The .22 version delivers muzzle energy up to 107 J with slug ammunition, while the .25 reaches 120 J and the .30 reaches 168 J . Overall length measures 860mm for the Standard model, with weight at approximately 3.1 kg . The 480cc carbon fibre bottle fills to a maximum of 250 bar . Shot count reaches approximately 330 shots in .22 and 375 shots in .177 at lower power settings . The rifle includes a WIKA airtube gauge, first and second regulator gauges, and a Foster Quick Disconnect charging port . An FX Impact M3 800mm barrel kit is available separately for shooters wanting extra length and velocity . Therefore, shooters in Sweden, Finland, and Estonia should verify local energy limits before ordering, as high-power airguns require appropriate licensing in most EU member states.

Power Block Upgrade and Quick Tune System

The defining feature of the Impact M3 is its Power Block upgrade. FX completely redesigned the rear block and valve house to improve airflow, efficiency, and power potential . Moreover, the 720cc Power Plenum provides precise air volume for heavy slugs and high velocities . The Quick Tune System allows tool-free adjustment of hammer spring tension using a 16-step macro wheel and micro-fine adjustment wheel . The front valve adjuster controls valve dwell. Consequently, you can tune the rifle for different pellet weights, ranges, and power levels without disassembly. The dual AMP regulators reduce stress on the second regulator, delivering more consistent output pressure .

Known FX Impact M3 Problems Owners Report

Owners report several consistent issues worth knowing. Impacts will leak at some point, and O-rings are consumable parts that require regular replacement . Moreover, slow regulator refresh has occurred on some units, with the regulator taking minutes to return to pressure after firing . Point-of-impact shift is another common complaint, with one owner reporting having to check zero every outing before upgrading the barrel clamp and liner . Valve leaks out of the barrel have appeared, often caused by damaged valve rods or dislodged O-rings from excessive dry firing . Therefore, owner feedback suggests keeping spare O-rings on hand and learning the rifle’s sub-systems for maintenance.

Accuracy, Pellet Choice, and Range Performance

Pellet choice significantly impacts the Impact M3’s accuracy. The Smooth Twist X Superior Liner delivers excellent results with JSB Exact and H&N Baracuda pellets, while heavy slugs require the Dual Hole transfer port set to ‘S’ for maximum airflow . Moreover, the free-floating match-grade barrel provides consistent accuracy when paired with the right ammunition. Owners report the M3 capable of reliable groups at 50 metres and beyond with proper tuning. The regulated system delivers consistent velocities with minimal extreme spread. Consequently, test multiple pellet weights and slug designs to find what your individual liner prefers. The 20 MOA integrated scope rail assists long-range dialling.
