The Blaser Infinity 2.8-20×50 iC IVD rifle scope offers 20x magnification and a 50 mm objective in a compact size of just 343 mm. The 50 mm objective is big enough for a clear view even when darkness falls, assisted by the CCC (Color Corrective Coating) multi layer coating on all lenses. On top of that, both ocular and objective have a SLP (Smart Lens Protection) nano coating for dust and water resistance.
Very convenient on this Blaser Infinity 2.8-20×50 iC IVD rifle scope is the QDC (Quick Distance Control) on the elevation turret. To adjust the elevation, you have to pull out the turret and on both the zeroed adjustment as the RZR/GEE (+4 cm if the rifle is zeroed at 100 meters) the turret can be pushed down with which the turrent is blocked to prevent accidental adjustment. The parallax adjustment has a similar principle where the turret is locked at 100 meters and adjustment is only possible when the turrent is pulled out, where 200 and 300 meters are indicated.
Two other features catch the attention with this Blaser Infinity 2.8-20×50 iC IVD rifle scope. First is the IVD (Intelligent Variable Dot) illuminated reticle on the first focal plane, where the red dot is big in size under 4x magnification and automatically decreases in size when magnification increases beyond that to improve accuracy. The other interesting ànd unique feature is the iC (Illumination Control) in which rifle scope and rifle communicate with each other by means of the Blaser R8 bolt (that can be retro fitted on older R8 models). When you cock the rifle, the red dot in the IVD reticle automatically lights up, saving you time and hassle. Of course, the red dot can also be operated manually.
With 1-7x zoom, the Blaser Infinity 2.8-20×50 iC IVD rifle scope has a large zoom range for universal use.
