Moreover, Umarex tests each cartridge for cleanliness, preventing the oils and grit that damage valves and O-rings . Because the uniform neck dimensions ensure proper piercing in most CO2 airguns, you avoid frustrating leaks and wasted gas. Therefore, whether you are checking Umarex CO2 Kapseln 100 Stück prices or comparing 12g CO2 Kapseln Baumarkt options, this branded gas deserves serious consideration.

Umarex 12-Gram CO2 Cartridges Specifications: Count, Compatibility, and European Availability

Each cartridge contains exactly 12 grams of CO2 and fits most brands of CO2 airguns, including Umarex, Walther, and Crosman models . The cartridges use mild steel construction with corrosion-resistant properties. Each 12-gram cartridge delivers roughly 20 to 80 shots depending on the airgun and firing pace . European retailers stock Umarex CO2 cartridges across the EU, with German shops listing 100-piece bulk packs and Belgian retailers offering 25-packs . Therefore, shooters in Sweden, Finland, and Estonia should verify their airgun’s CO2 compatibility before ordering.

Clean-Burning CO2 and Tight Tolerance Manufacturing

The defining feature of these cartridges is their clean-burning formulation. Umarex tests each cartridge to ensure it is free from oils and grit, which protects your airgun’s valves and extends O-ring life . Moreover, the uniform neck dimensions mean every cartridge pierces properly, delivering gas evenly into your airgun. One long-term reviewer noted that since switching to Umarex, they observed a significant improvement in the velocity and accuracy of their shots . Another reviewer confirmed that Umarex cartridges give considerably more high-power shots per canister than other makes . Consequently, the cartridges deliver reliable performance shot after shot. A simple tip from Umarex: add a drop of chamber lube to the tip of each cartridge before installation to further extend airgun longevity.

Known Umarex 12-Gram CO2 Cartridges Problems Owners Report

Owners report several considerations worth knowing. Price is the most common complaint, with one reviewer noting the cartridges are slightly more expensive than some other brands, though they consider the quality worth the investment . Moreover, one reviewer observed that unbranded alternatives often do not have a full 12g charge, making the Umarex value proposition stronger than the sticker price suggests . Some users report limited local availability, though European online retailers largely solve this. A small number of cartridges may occasionally underperform, though this is rare with genuine Umarex stock. Therefore, owner feedback suggests buying branded cartridges rather than cheap unbranded alternatives to avoid false economies.

Accuracy, CO2 Consistency, and Range Performance

The cartridges do not directly affect accuracy through ammunition choice, as they supply gas rather than projectiles. However, clean, consistent CO2 pressure translates directly to stable velocities, which matters for target shooting and pest control. One reviewer confirmed that clean CO2 produces consistent and reliable performance with no sudden drops in power . Moreover, the 12-gram capacity delivers ample shooting time before swapping, with estimates ranging from 20 to 80 shots depending on the airgun . Consequently, these cartridges support consistent downrange performance by maintaining stable gas pressure throughout a session. Shooters report that proper cartridge seating and a drop of lubricant maximise both shot count and consistency.

FINAL VERDICT

The Umarex 12-Gram CO2 Cartridges represent a reliable investment for CO2 airgun shooters wanting clean, consistent power. They offer genuine Umarex construction, tight tolerances for proper piercing, and ultra-pure gas that protects your airgun’s internals . However, the modest price premium over unbranded alternatives and occasional availability challenges mean they suit shooters who value reliability over rock-bottom cost. Purchase from a reputable European retailer with warranty support and knowledge of local regulations. Consider adding a drop of chamber lube to each cartridge tip for extended airgun life, and store cartridges below 50°C as Umarex advises . Therefore, verify your airgun’s CO2 compatibility before ordering, as regulations on CO2 airguns vary across EU member states including Sweden, Finland, and Estonia. Shop at Airgun Armoury.
