Moreover, the Armada accepts Mil-Spec AR-15 stocks, pistol grips, and M-LOK accessories without adapters or modification . The bolt is fully reversible for left-handed shooters . The two-stage adjustable match trigger breaks predictably, and an onboard gauge monitors air pressure . Consequently, the rifle adapts to different shooters and shooting scenarios without gunsmithing. The raised aluminium breech makes loading the rotary magazine easier.

Known Benjamin Armada Problems Owners Report

Owners report several consistent issues worth knowing. The factory buttstock receives heavy criticism, with one owner describing it as “flimsy, rattles, feels cheesy” and immediately replacing it with a Magpul unit . Moreover, magazine reliability appears frequently, with one owner reporting their magazine “did not work consistently” and “jams frequently” . Official Benjamin magazine reviews echo this, with one customer noting “spring is too weak to push all 8 rounds” and another stating “they’re bad right out of the package” . The rifle is also front-heavy, with one owner noting “the gun is very front heavy” affecting offhand shooting consistency . M-LOK tabs are described as “extremely brittle” and require careful handling . Therefore, owner feedback suggests budgeting for a replacement stock and spare magazines.

Accuracy, Pellet Choice, and Range Performance

Pellet choice significantly impacts the Armada’s accuracy. Owners report excellent results with H&N Crow Magnums and JSB Exact King pellets in .25 calibre, achieving 1.2-inch groups at 50 yards and some under an inch . Moreover, one owner reported putting “3 mags of pellets into a 1/2″ hole” at 30 yards off a rest . The .25 calibre Armada prefers heavier pellets in the 31-grain range, with one owner noting “when you get 31gr/above it has great consistency at range” . Consequently, test multiple pellet weights to find what your individual barrel prefers. The Armada excels at small game hunting and pest control within 50 yards, with one owner confirming it “punches clean holes through house building strength 1″ pressed pinewood boards at 50 yards” . At 75 yards, expect approximately 3-inch groups with pellets beginning to destabilise.

FINAL VERDICT

The Benjamin Armada represents exceptional value in an AR-style PCP rifle. It offers proven Marauder internals, full AR-15 compatibility, and quiet operation in a modular chassis . However, the factory stock, magazine reliability, and front-heavy balance mean it suits shooters willing to customise and upgrade rather than expecting turnkey perfection. Purchase from a reputable European retailer with warranty support and knowledge of local regulations. Consider replacing the factory stock with a Magpul unit immediately, and adding a Huma or Altaros regulator for improved shot-to-shot consistency .
